In high-accuracy mode, it maintains ±30 μm precision (optional ±25 μm). Enhanced stability, faster multi-recognition camera processing, and improved pickup algorithms ensure superior handling of 03015 microchips, larger components, and high-mix production demands. The lightweight 16NH V3A head boosts SMT productivity by enabling simultaneous X–Y axis motion during parts recognition. Combined with the fast multi-recognition camera, the system optimizes placement routing, shortens takt time, and ensures faster, more efficient component mounting-especially in dual-lane production environments.
The NPM-D3A enhances SMT productivity with a powerful multi-recognition camera that integrates 2D and 3D sensing in a single scan for faster, more accurate component verification. Its selectable Alternate, Independent, and Hybrid Placement modes optimize dual-lane production, while fully independent placement-enabled through direct connection with NPM-TT2-significantly improves cycle time for mid and large components. This advanced dual mounting method boosts total line output and ensures efficient high-mix manufacturing.
The NPM-D3A's automatic recovery option boosts machine availability by automatically adjusting pickup positions without stopping production. When an error occurs, the system performs automatic feed and teaching, allowing the line to resume operation seamlessly. This nonstop recovery function minimizes downtime and ensures stable, continuous SMT production.
The NPM-D3A's remote operation option enables operators to recover from pickup position errors and component placement errors without approaching the machine. By allowing human-judgment-based corrections from a centralized monitor room, the system reduces reaction time, shortens error recovery, improves operating rate, and supports efficient, labor-saving SMT production.
The NPM-D3A enhances inspection accuracy with the AOI Info Display Option, showing NG component details directly on the mounter's screen for faster troubleshooting. Its high-quality mounting functions- including warpage detection before placement and X/Y shift inspection after placement-ensure precise handling of thin and large components. These advanced recognition features improve post-process efficiency, reduce defects, and maintain stable SMT production quality.
